Event Overview
Ruth N. Nelson, founder of BYOP®, will host a special session at the AVCA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky, during the NCAA Final Four from December 18-22, 2024. This session will showcase volleyball skills and drills for youth players aged 5-11.

Demonstration Details (specific timeline will be emailed once we receive your 3 forms)
  • Date & Time: Saturday, December 21, 10:15–11:15 AM
  • Location: Meet at the front of the Marketplace at 8:30 AM and finish at noon. Kentucky International Convention Center Hall ABC (Upper Level)

Participant Needs
  • Players Required: 8-12 participants, ages 5-10, preferably beginners.
  • Coordination: A coach or parent is needed to help organize and coordinate the players.
Parental Role
Parents (moms or dads) are welcome to attend to assist in preparing their kidz. While they will NOT participate in the demonstration nor practice, they can support by shagging balls and enjoy watching their kidz engage in the session.
Practice Session
  • Date & Time: Tuesday, December 17, 4:00–5:00 PM (EST)
  • Location: Union Volleyball Club at Louisville Sports Academy/Springhurst Tennis Center (LSA)
    Address: 4109 Simcoe Lane, Louisville, KY
Important Information:
  • Space is limited to 12 participants.
  • Each player must complete the following items:
    1. Contact Form: Complete the online form below.
    2. Photo Release: Sign, date, and return to [email protected].
    3. Participant Waiver: Sign, date, and return to [email protected].

All forms (online contact form, signed and dated participant waiver, and photo release) must be submitted no later than Wednesday, November 17.

You will receive an email confirmation once all forms have been received and your participation has been finalized.
If spots remain available after November 27, 2024, you will be notified.
