PURPOSE
1. Provide training and certification of the GoKids Youth Sports™ program to parents, elementary school teachers, recreational coaches, and youth club coaches.
2. Provide sports skills training, clinics, and camps for kids and youth ages 7 and under (Level 1) and ages 8 and up (Level 2).
GoKids Youth Sports™ (GKYS) was created and founded by 5X Hall of Famer Ruth N. Nelson, who has over 56+ years of experience in volleyball. She has emphasized training kids and youth 12 and under over the past 25 years. She has also created an instructor/trainer certification for the Bring Your Own Parent (BYOP®) Program, working with children ages 10 and under and their parents. Most recently, she has created a 24/7 website and virtual gym for accessing information including training videos at www.rnnsportsgym.com
Level 1 (Ages 7 and under): Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced (Home Training Program Series™ online training course)
Level 2 (Ages 8 and up): Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced (Home Training Program Series™ online training course)

LEVEL 2: 5-Year Certification (fundamental skills and physical elements of performance and teaching kids on-court)
In-Person Certification Course for becoming a Certified GoKids Youth Sports™ Skills Trainer Complete and pay the non-refundable application fee and make FULL payment online for the certification course, receive your discount for VIP RNN Sports Gym™ membership status (first year only), take online BYOP® 101 and HTPS™ courses utilizing the VIP discount code, and email both online course completion certificates to [email protected] 30 days prior to the certification course event. A signed participant waiver and photo release must be on file with brvc, LLC, as well as a signed NDA and end-user website agreement. Includes:
Application fee: $100.00 Promotional Certification Rate: $500.00 (retail value - $1200) A minimum of 10-12 teachers, coaches, or parents is required to host the GKYS™ certification. The host is also responsible for covering all travel expenses for the GKYS™ Trainer. Please coordinate with the trainer to schedule a time that is convenient for both of you. Additionally, the host must provide access to a gym and a classroom, as well as 8–12 kidz (ages 10 and under) for the training session. An agreement outlining all the host's responsibilities must be signed at least 90 days before the event. (Minimum number of coaches may vary if hosting a Level 2 & Level 3 together.) |

STEP 3: You will receive an email from RNN Sports Gym™ asking you to complete your website registration for your one-year VIP Membership by adding your email, creating a username and password (www.rnnsportsgym.com)
STEP 4: Once you are registered, go to the VIP court and select the discounts tab. You will receive a promotional discount from The Art of Coaching for registering for both online courses that are part of your certification process. You will need to register for BOTH courses at the same time to get your discount and complete both courses prior to June 15, 2026 (BYOP® 101 and Home Training Program Series™ hosted by Art of Coaching). Once you have completed both courses, download both BYOP® 101 and Home Training Program Series™ certificates and email them back to [email protected] before the deadline.

STEP 6: You will receive final confirmation from brvc, LLC Founder Ruth N. Nelson ([email protected]) once we have received the contact application, waivers (2), full payment, and certificates of completion for online courses (2). Any final schedule changes for the July 18 course will be emailed to the email address you provided in your application.
NOTE: skills trainer's fee (application and membership) and length of certification may vary from year to year, so check the rates and length of certification that apply to the year that you receive your certification. Some promotional rates may apply when attending approved clinics and/or events. Credits may be applied when noted once you have paid FULL Skills Trainer's fee for In-Person Certification and completed all applications and needed form (application, application fee, signed End user agreement, participant waiver, photo release either online or hard copy, provided both BYOP® 101 and HTPS™ Certificate of Completion and paid FULL membership fees (associated with either provisional or certified).
