During the AOC Clinic in Houston (The Woodlands), Ruth N. Nelson willbe on site providing training and certification of the GoKids Youth Sports™ program to parents, elementary school teachers, recreational coaches and youth club coaches.
The GoKids Youth Sports™ program provides sports skills training for kids ages 7 and under (Level 1) and 8 and up (Level 2). Training will take place at The Woodlands College Park High School. The tentative schedule (may be subject to change) includes: Saturday, June 8 (1 day certification)
9:00-9:50 on-court with discussion and participation 10:00-10:50 on-court with discussion and participation 11:00-11:50 on-court with discussion and participation 12:00-12:50: Lunch which you can purchase with AOC 1:00-1:50 in classroom 2:00-2:50 practical on-court with players 3:10-3:40 practical on-court with players 3:50-4:20 General AOC session with demonstration |

Overview of Event Project: Each year, Founder BYOP® Ruth N. Nelson presents a session at the Art of Coaching, however, for our second year we will be conducting the GoKids Youth Sports™ Skills Trainer Course during the Art of Coaching yearly coaches clinic. This demonstration will be Saturday afternoon course for skills trainers as well as a short demonstration for all coaches at the AOC clinic.
Course Demonstration: Tentative Dates and times listed above: Saturday (specific time frame will be provided by May 15, 2024) and Saturday (including breaks) between 2:00-4:30 pm
NEEDS for Event: 8-10 players are needed for groups ages 5, 6, 7 and 8, 9,10 that will be involved in the drills and exercises for teaching and training ages 10 and under during our Certification of GKYS™ Skills trainers. 4 players ages 5, 6, 7 and 4 players ages 8, 9, 10. We would ask that an adult (club coach, teacher, or parent) be present during all demonstrations. (please sure to bring snacks for their break)
Space is limited to no more than 12 kids. Please complete the below contact form, and both waivers below MUST be dated and signed for each player prior to May 15, 2024. Thank you for being part of our second GoKids Youth Sports™ Skills Trainer Certification Course with Art of Coaching clinic.
