At Net Results Sports Center, Founder and Hall of Famer Ruth N. Nelson will be conducting certification of the GoKids Youth Sports™ program to parents, elementary school teachers, recreational coaches, and youth club coaches.
The GoKids Youth Sports™ program provides sports skills training for kids ages 7 and under (Level 1) and 8 and up (Level 2). Training will take place at Net Results Sports Center The tentative demonstration time schedule (may be subject to change) includes: |

Saturday, June 8 (1 day certification)
9:00-9:55: on-court with discussion and participation 10:00-10:55: on-court with discussion and participation 11:00-11:55: on-court with discussion and participation 12:00-12:50: Lunch TBA this may be shorter 1:00-1:55: in classroom 1:45 check for players 2:00-2:55: practical on-court with kidz 3:00-3:25: practical on-court with kidz 3:30-4:00: Final summary, photos and certification presentation |

Event Overview:
Each year, Founder of BYOP® Ruth N. Nelson conducts GKYS™ Certification courses across the country. This year marks the third time we will be conducting the GoKids Youth Sports™ Skills Trainer Course at Net Results Sports Center 2600 Research Dr. in Plano, Texas.
During this event, players ages 10 and under will have the exciting opportunity to participate in the GKYS™ Skills Trainer on-court practical experience.
Course Demonstration Details:
- Dates: Saturday, June 8
- Tentative Time: Saturday (including breaks), between 2:00-3:30 pm (could be 30 minutes earlier or 30 minutes later). You will be provided with the exact 90-minute time slot no later than May 31, 2024.
Event Requirements:
We are in need of 8–10 players for two age groups: ages 5, 6, 7, and ages 8, 9, 10. These players will actively participate in drills and exercises designed for teaching and training children ages 10 and under during our on-court certification.
For each age group, we require:
- 4 players ages 5, 6, 7
- 4 players ages 8, 9, 10
We kindly request that an adult (such as a club coach, teacher, or parent) accompany each participant during all demonstrations. Additionally, please ensure to bring snacks for the participants' break times.
Space is limited to no more than 12 kids. To register, please complete the online contact form provided below. Additionally, please ensure that the following three waivers are dated and signed prior to May 31, 2024. Please email directly to: [email protected]
