Your Provisional GKYS™ membership will include an 8-week training plan for Level 1 & 2 and short video clips that are necessary tools for teaching ages 7 and under and 8 and up. However, we reserve the right in our sole and absolute discretion to make changes from time to time and without notice in how we operate our service and content.
There are two main categories: one consists of fundamental skills; the other includes movement patterns, hand-eye coordination, jump rope routines, and combining these with the four basic fundamentals skills.
Many of the short video clips (usually 1-min - 90 seconds) with have parents demonstrating with kids and/or you may see that there is a low player-to-coach ratio. This will show the value of having assistants /mentors and/or volunteers for your training sessions. This age group needs a little more one-on-one attention when teaching skills or movement patterns since kids are not as strong, agile, quick or coordinated, as a 12 year old.

AVCA Convention Overview from RNN BUZZ on Vimeo. This is a SAMPLE 7-minute video clip that will show how much can be learned when teaching the Nelson Methodology while using progressions and drills that reinforce the four basic fundamentals skills of volleyball. This Sizzle Clip was the final dress-out and practice prior to the AVCA Convention demonstration. Having teachers, assistant coaches, volunteers and/or older players and possibly parents engaged will allow this age group players more opportunities to improvement.
